With round 4 completed, the MIE Racing Honda Team now prepares for round 5 of the Superbike World Championship, which is set to take place at the same Motorland Aragón circuit as the previous event. The team has of course remained on-site since the fourth round drew to a close just two days ago.

This Spanish double-header means that the valuable experience and knowledge Takahashi gained aboard his CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP during round 4 can hopefully be harnessed during the upcoming event. The Japanese rider finished last weekend’s race 1 inside the points zone and made some good progress over the three-day event. The round 5 aim will be to continue along this same path.

“I’m very much looking forward to racing at Aragón again this weekend, fresh from the experience of the last round. We want to improve in terms of both the bike set-up and my riding style and I think this will be one our best opportunities to do so this season because we now have a lot of data for this track. I hope to be faster right from day one and then continue to grow over the course of the weekend.”
